Coeburn, VA ~ Roy Paragon, Sr., 50, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at his residence in Coeburn Virginia.
Hewas employed by Temperpedic Production in Duffield, VA.
He was the son of the late Chester L. and Carrie Louise Paragon.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Laney Paragon, Coeburn, VA; daughters, Leatha Renee Smith, and husband, David, Coeburn, Jessica Ann Pennington, and husband, Steven, Pennington Gap, and Carrie Nicole Paragon, Coeburn; Sons, Roy Paragon Jr., and wife, Wanda, Duffield and Jonathan Adam Paragon, and wife, Samantha, Coeburn, and Danny Ray Laney and wife, Heather, Coeburn; sisters, Kathleen Jones, CA and Irene McCoy, and husband, Newton, Pound; brothers, Tony Paragon and wife, Delores, OH and Tommy Paragon, and wife, Meta, Pound; 8 loving grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for RoyParagon will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2009 1:00 PM at Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Hayes and Rev. Danny Darnell officiating. Burial will follow in Laney Cemetery, on High Knob. Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2009 after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, VA.
