Russell Lee Martin age 54, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA.

Russell was born on July 28, 1967, in Whitesburg, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents Russell & Barbara Wright Martin, and a sister Lenora Martin.

He is survived by his wife Janice Clay Martin; two daughters Janice Shaneace Martin and Tessa Yukona Martin; siblings Carolyn Sue Cornett & husband David, Jenkins, KY, Robert Ray Martin & wife Sandra, Liberty, KY, Arnold Dean Martin & wife Faye, Whitesburg, KY, Patricia Fox, Whitesburg, KY, Flora June Tungate & husband Adam, Barbersville, KY, Billy Martin & wife Vonda, and Rev. Bruce Martin & wife Debra Lynn, Coeburn; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from the Estes Funeral Home Chapel in Coeburn. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Bruce Martin officiating.
