Sam Lee Coleman, age 56, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday, December, 28th, 2020.

Lee was a member of the Eagles Club in Castlewood, VA. As well as a member of the Abingdon Moose Lodge. He was veteran of the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; Janet Loraine Hess and Kelver Ray Coleman; biological parents; Sam Woodruff and Lillian Simpson.

He is survived by his children: Megan Coleman and Seth Coleman; siblings: Judy Hammond, Bobby Turner, and Clifford Coleman; Grandson: Bo Hunter Burdeshaw; Uncles: George Hammond and Paul Hammond; Aunts: Arbutus Tickles and Arizona Tompson.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January, 2nd, 2020 10:00am at the McCoy Chapel Church with burial to follow at the McCoy Cemetery with Clergyman Robert McCoy officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brad Burdeshaw, Tony Taylor, Jerry Hammond, Rufus Hammond, James Grear Jr., Mike Pilkington, Toby Plaster, and Raymond (Yak) Smith.

Estes Funeral Home will be serving the Coleman family.
