Samantha Ellen Cook – Coeburn, VA

Samantha "Sam" Ellen Cook, 57, Coeburn, VA passed away, Friday, January 12, 2024, Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

Samantha was born in Portsmouth, VA on August 11, 1966, and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Belva Jean Runyon Rickman.

In addition to her parents, her father-in-law, Lester Gene Cook, sister, Susan Rickman, and brothers, Scott and Derrick Rickman preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 16 years, Charles Kevin Cook, momma, Carol Cook, children, Justin (Carrie) Bishop, Rebecca Bishop, Austin (Carrie) Suttle, Tiffany Cook, and Lesleeanna Cook, sister, Stephanie "DeDe"" Shrewsberry, brothers-in-law, Jamie (Debbie) Cook, Mark Cook, and Josh (JME) Cook, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, VA. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., with Brother David Dale officiating.

Upon completion of the Celebration of Life Service, it was the wish of Samantha to be cremated.
