Wise, VA ~ John Stanley "Key Man" Gilreath, 87, died Monday, June 14, 2004 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Mr. Gilreath was a retired heavy equipment operator, locksmith and a U.S. Navy Veteran during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Martin and Nervie Jane Hall Gilreath; 2 sons, William S. Gilreath and James Lester Gilreath.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Barbara Potts, Fort Worth, TX and Sherry Flynn, Arlington, TX; 3 sons, Gerald Gilreath, Lake Havasu City, AZ, Danny Gilreath, Blanco, TX and Donald Gilreath Fort Worth, TX; 1 sister, Juanita Hamilton, Norton, VA; 17 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services for John Stanley Gilreath will be held Friday, June 18, 2004 at 4:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Cullifer officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton.Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home Chapel on Friday from 3:00 P.M. until funeral time.
