Stanley Dallas Sexton, 81, of Coeburn, VA entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Norton Community Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late John W. and Irene Fannon Sexton and a truck driver for most of his career.

In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Wilke Sexton and a son, Paul Sexton.

Surviving are his sons, John Sexton of Swanton, OH, Steven Sexton of Adrian, MI and Mark Sexton of Johnson City, TN; a daughter, Lynett Sexton Spencer of Devils Lake, MI; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several step siblings.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
