Stella Mae Ray's Obituary
Coeburn, VA ~ Stella Mae Ray, 70, died Sunday, November 26, 2000 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Mrs. Ray was a member of MEOC, a local hospital volunteer and attended Bondtown Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Ray, her parents, Virgil, and Ethel Jordan Ramey, Rosie Faye Ray (Daughter), Verna Ruth Hall (Sister), Logan Ramey & Junior Ramey (Brothers).
Survivors include 3 sons, Fred Vine, Rustburg, VA, Benjamin "Bud" Ray, Coeburn, & Jimmy Ray, Wise; 3 daughters, Kimberly Blackburn, Coeburn, Geraldine Ogrzewalla, Steelville, MO & Brenda Baker, Melvindale, MI; 2 brothers, Roy Ramey, Sandusky, OH & Eugene Ramey, Lenoir City, TN; 3 sisters, Hannah Fields, Lenoir City, TN, Ollie Kate Bright, St. Paul & Irene Maculif, Detroit Mich.; 8 Grandchildren, several nephews, several nieces.
Funeral services for Stella Mae Ray will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. R.L. Crawford will be officiating. Burial will follow in the American Legion Cemetery in Big Stone Gap. Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Tuesday after 5:00 P.M.
