Sudorthia Sue Barlow Kilgore

Sudorthia Sue Kilgore, 75, entered into rest Thursday, December 29, 2022, in Akron, OH. She was born August 5, 1947, to the late May and James Barlow in Wise County, VA.

In 2012, Sue moved to Ohio because of health reasons. Paula Kilgore and Georgia Kilgore, both daughters-in-law, were her caregivers as well as Michael and Ashley Kilgore. Sue became an extended part of both Paula and Georgia's families, and they loved her and will miss her also. Sue lived through many life changing circumstances including lung cancer, brain cancer, heart disease.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, May Hyatt Barlow, and James F Barlow; husband, CW Kilgore; sisters, Nancy Barlow Sigmon, and Sandra Barlow Sigmon; stepdaughter, Sharon Kilgore Icenhour; and granddaughter, Samantha Ann Kilgore.

Sue was survived by her brother, Frank Barlow Sr; stepchildren, Eddie Kilgore, Charlie Kilgore, and Susie Kilgore Jackson; grandchildren, Tammie, Richard, Chris, Dawn, Tiffany, Eric, Michael; great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm, in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 pm to proceed to the cemetery.
