Sylvia Evelyn Davis, 91 of Dry Fork Road, Coeburn, Virginia, died november 6, 2017 at Abingdon Health and Rehab in Abingdon, VA.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Blondia McReynolds.

She was a loving wife, mother and a homemaker. She was of the Freewill Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Davis, also her sisters, Nannie Stansberry, Gloria Stanley, brothers, Harold (Mike), Hazleton, Paul and Roger McReynolds.

She is survived by daughters, Carolyn (Ronald) Hileman of Castlewood, Charlotte (Ronald) McCroskey of Abingdon; sons, Johnnie (Marian) Davis of Coeburn and Norman (Betty) Davis of Bristol, VA; sister, Virginia Powers of Dungannon; brothers, Ballard of Dungannon and Thaddeus of Castlewood; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Gilliam of Gray, TN and Patsy Salyer of Coeburn; brothers-in-law, Bill Davis of Michigan and Douglas Davis of Coeburn; grandchildren, Ann (Jeff) Brooks, Chad Davis and fiancee, Brandy Markham, Allison (Eric) Wohlford, Jonathan Davis, Daniel (Mandy) Davis, Brad McCroskey and fiancee, Laine Isaascs, Matt Sweet and Whitney, Cea Cea (Daniel) Long, Rebekah Davis, Brittany Davis and Brandy Davis; great grandchildren, Davis, Cylvia, Ember, Joceyln Wohlford, Lennion and Hayes Davis, Alyssa Keigly, Avery Long, Ashley Debord, Nevaeh Sweet and Aubree Sweet.

Visitation for Sylvia Davis will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the Estes Funeral Home Chapel at Coeburn, VA from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The funeral will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Teddy G. Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Mountain Home National Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Mountain Home, Tennessee. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA is in charge of arrangements.
