Thelma Bludie (Hayes) Castle, 87, of St. Paul passed away peacefully at her home on August 12, 2020. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gospel music and preachin'.She loved sewing, cooking, and canning. She always had a smile on her face and would help everyone she could.She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Castle, Sr.; great-granddaughter, Zoe Felker-Baker; siblings, Cecil Hayes, Nubie Hayes, Stanford Hayes, Cleta Henry, Berdie Williams.

Survivors include children, Frank Castle, Jr. and wife Fran, Deborah Castle, Dianne Jacobs and husband Gary, Gary Castle and wife Lisa, Lonzie Castle; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Darvil Hayes and wife Joan, Frank Hayes, Moe Hayes, Lakie Hayes, Geneva Lawson

The Castle family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Saturday, August 15 at Estes Funeral Home- Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, August 16 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Procession will follow to Greenwood Acres for the committal.
