He was the son of the late Douglas Fairbanks Miller and MamieMiller; also preceeded in death by one daughter, Fanetta Banks; one son, Douglas Fairbanks Miller Sr.; two sisters, Rosalee Sanders andKatherine Adams; one brother, Willie Talford.
Survivors include, special friend and mother, Mamie Courtney; five daughters, Rebecca Felix, Raleigh, NC, Wanda Forney, Baltimore, MD, Cynthia "Miller" Courtney, Coeburn, Elizabeth Hill, Norton, and Tina Thompson, Upper Marlboro, MD; four sons, Kenneth Miller , Jacksonville, NC, Robert Miller, John "Miller" Courtney and Theodore 'Moe' "Miller" Courtney, all of Coeburn; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and sons-in law and daughters-in-law.
