Coeburn, VA ~ Thomas Edward Adkins, 52 died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at his residence in Coeburn Virginia.
He was preceded in death by father, William Jess Adkins and one brother, Jessie James Adkins.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Elizabeth Adkins, Coeburn; two daughters,Nancy Elizabeth Lawson, and Faith Leandra Frost, both of Coeburn; eight sisters, Loretta Jenkins, Janice Mullins, Judy Yates, Kathy "Lois" Plaster, Ruth Hamm, Martha Stapleton, Melissa Culbertson, all of Coeburn and Joyce Mullins, Clintwood; three brothers, Johnny Adkins and Marcus Adkins, both of Coeburn, and David Adkins, Nora, VA; one granddaughter, Sierra Lawson, Coeburn; two grandsons, Grayson and Matthew Lawson, both of Coeburn; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Thomas Edward Adkins will be held on Friday May 1, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Riverview Pentecostal Church with Rev. Mike Lawson and Rev. Joe Dearry officiating. Burial will be Friday May 1, 2009 at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday after 6:00 P.M. at Riverview Pentecostal Church, 11703 Riverview Road, Coeburn, Va.
