Coeburn, VA ~ Thomas James Smith, Sr., 47 passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Smith and granddaughter, Ariel Faith Smith.
He is survived by his spouse, Beth Anne Odle, Coeburn; father, Teddy R. Smith, Coeburn; two daughters, Melanie Smith, Norton, and Mechell Bentley, Coeburn; one son, Thomas James Smith Jr. , Coeburn; four sisters, Jan Sullivan, Morristown, TN, Margaret Varble, Greenville, TN, Markeda Hall, Norton,and Regina Talford, Bulls Gap, TN; one brother, Raymond Smith , Coeburn; 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Thomas James Smith will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R. L. Crawford officiating. Burial will be Adkins Cemeteryat Dale Ridge in Coeburn. Visitation will be held Tuesday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
