Troy Allen Moore, 68, left this walk of life Monday, May 4, 2026, at his home on DC Caney Ridge. He was born September 25, 1957 in Tazewell, VA to the late, Alonzo and Felicia Moore. He worked as a coal miner his whole life until his retirement and was known for carpentry work. He enjoyed his outdoors and living in the mountains of Caney Ridge.

In addition to his parents, Troy is preceded in death by his spouse, Becky Ann Moore; his siblings, Lacey Moore, Gladys Olston, David Moore, and Norma Jean Moore.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Troy Wayne Moore, Elvis Dewayne Moore (Angela), Catherine Marie Moore, and Mazel Irene Moore; brother, Eddie Moore (Diane); sisters, Alice Faye Moore, and Wanda Moore; grandchildren, Ashley Hope, Kingston Eaman Moore, Jacob Lambert, and Jordan Lambert; great-grandchild, Merrick Arlow. several extended family and friends.

Visitation for Troy will be Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm in the chapel of Estes Funeral Home of Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm. Graveside services will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery, DC Caney Ridge Rd, Coeburn, VA.
