Defiance, OH ~ Vera L. Buchanan, 84, died Friday, March 30, 2001 at in Defiance.
Mrs. Buchanan was a former resident of Coeburn, Va. and a member of Mary's Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Buchanan, her parents, Logan and Mary Ellen Tate Carico, a son, David Buchanan, 3 brothers, Charles Carico, Leon Carico and Kermit Carico; 1 sister, Mary Belle Carico.
Survivors include 1 son, Harold W. Buchanan of Defiance, OH; 1 brother, Letcher "Buster" Carico of Holgate, OH; 4 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and several nephews.

Funeral services for Vera L. Buchanan will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Les Ritchie will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Coeburn.Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Monday after 6:00 P.M.
