Veronica Phillips 46, of Coeburn, VA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Norton Community Hospital after an illness.

Veronica loved going on her vacations to the beaches and Florida. She would enjoy eating out, shopping, and walking the walk track in Coeburn. She also had a passion riding side by sides and twirling and dancing to her music.

Born in Kentucky, she was a daughter of Roger W. Phillips, Sr. and the late Thelma Gay Chaffins Phillips.  She is survived by her father, Roger W. Phillips Sr, of Pikeville, KY; brothers, Roger W. Phillips, Jr and Keith Phillips, both of Pikeville, KY; several aunts, uncles and cousins. We also would like to thank her caregiving family Angela Powers and Elvis Moore, and he day program staff and friends at Hettie's Haven in Coeburn, VA.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Estes Funeral Home funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  Committal will be in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery in Coeburn, VA.
