Coeburn, VA ~Virginia Alice Richardson Hampton, 87 died Tuesday,June 6, 2006 at her residence in Coeburn Virginia.
Shewas a retired school teacher for 40 + years for the Wise County Schools.
She was the preceeded in death by her parents, H. K. and MarthaRichardson; husband, David Bruce Hampton, Sr.
Survivors include Daughter, Donna Rose Sevier, Coeburn; Son, David Bruce Hampton Jr. and wife, Charlene Coeburn; Brother, George Richardson, Pennington Gap, VA; Three Granddaughters, Sarah Sevier, Jordan Sevier and Alexis Hampton; Three Grandsons, Sean Hampton, Chad Hampton and Matthew Hampton; One Great-Granddaughter, Olivia Hampton; One Great-Grandson, Travis Webb; Special Niece, Glenna Jean Meade, several nieces and several other relatives.

Visitation for Virginia Hampton will be held Friday, June 9, 2006 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel after 5 PM and funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Gary Perdue officiating. Entombment will be at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, VA on Saturday at 11 AM. The family will meet at the funeral home and leave for the cemetery at 10:30 AM. Arrangements are being handled by Estes Funeral Home, Inc., 114 High Ave. NE, Coeburn, VA.
