Coeburn, VA ~ Warren Payton Harvey, 70, died Wednesday, December 6, 2000 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia.
Mr. Harvey was a retired coal miner and a former employee of Westmoreland Coal Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Julie Kern Harvey.
Survivors include his wife Betty Harvey 2 sons, Jerry Harvey and Jeff Harvey both of Coeburn; 3 daughters, Sandra Mefford and Patricia Barnette both of Coeburn and Kim Carpenter, Gray, TN; 1 sister, Millie Cole, Martinsville, VA; 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, & several nephews & nieces.
Funeral services for Warren Payton Harvey will be held Friday, December 8, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. at Pine Camp Church of God of Prophecy. Rev. Curtis Bond and Rev. Sammy Hall will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Coeburn. Visitation will be held at Pine Camp Church of God of Prophecy on Thursday after 5:00 P.M.
