Duffield, VA ~ Willard Ray Ellis, 72 passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 athis residence in Duffield, Virginia.
Hewas a U.S. Army Veteran and a former resident of Coeburn, VA.
He was the son of the late Garfield Ellis and Mary Angie Mutter Ellis; also preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Sykes, and Kathleen Lumbardy, threebrothers, Huey Ellis, Worley Ellis, and Ervin Ellis, Sr.
Survived by his wife, Glenda Lou (Yates) Ellis, Duffield, a daughter, Rebecca Jean Hunt, Kingsport, TN; two sons, Michael Ellis and wife, Cheri,Wilkesboro, NC and Willard Ray Ellis, Jr. , Clinchport, VA; a sister, Janice Fay McConnell, Pensacola, FL; a brother, James Luther Ellis, Coeburn; 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Willard Ray Ellis will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Pine Grove Community Cemetery with Rev, Joseph Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Coeburn VFW will perform Military Graveside Rites. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
