William "Booger" Richard Funk, 33, of Coeburn, VA passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA

He was a graduate of Coeburn High School, class of 2006 and life long resident of the Caney Ridge community. He drove a coal truck since he was 18 and loved to hunt and fish. He was an amazing husband and father, who will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, James "Little Joe" Funk; a brother, Lance Funk; a sleeping baby; paternal grandparents, Richard and Freida Funk; maternal grandparents, Bill and Judy Bell Cline. A special cousin, Clay Kincaid.

He is survived wife of 12 years, Louise Nicole Funk; sons, James Funk, Richard Funk; daughter, Judiann Louise Funk; mother, Patricia Cline; sister, Amanda Rose; step-mother, Karen Funk; special hunting buddy, Stephen Meade; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A host of truck driver buddies and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Johnny Flanary officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 am on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Stanley Family Cemetery on Caney Ridge Road. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
