William "Bill" Simm Buchanan, 93, entered the House of the Lord on November 13, 2024.

Bill was born on August 2, 1931 in Coeburn, VA and graduated from Coeburn High School. He served his
country in the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Air Force until his retirement. Bill loved to fish and hunt while he lived in
Newfoundland, Canada.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Savannah Buchanan; three brothers, Frank,
Eugene and James; granddaughter, Katie; stepson, Barry Newell.

He is survived by his three daughters, Rhoda and husband, Paul Rose, Iris and husband, Sam
White, and Louise Reid; daughter-in-law, Martha Newell; grandchildren, Maureen D'Isernia and husband, Luke,
Brandon Rose, Samuel White and wife, Kimberly, Liam Reid, Olivia Reid, Nikki Reid, Carla Newell, and Zack Newell; great-grandchildren,
Gage, Gavin, Taylor Newell, Holly Newell and Hunter Rose; sister, Joyce and husband, Joe Fail; sister-in-law, Gail Buchanan;
several nieces and nephews, special caregiver Andrea Perkins, and many friends.

Graveside Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, November, 18, 2024, at Greenwood Acres Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the U.S. Air Force Honor Team of Shaw Air Force Base. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 PM for the services.
